People First in times of Change

How to protect our people after business turbulence and worry...

As we reimagine our culture, we commit to put our employee's, clients and suppliers at the heart of all decisions while using a proven step by step process agreed across the stakeholder communities. People first. Always.

Our FIVE guiding principles for change will be -

  1. Together we can achieve amazing things and protect against our competition, and market conditions outside of our control

  2. Rewarding the behaviours that propel us in the right direction is key to us. We celebrate success.

  3. Understanding and empathy will be paramount in what we are doing. We know change can be scary.

  4. Structure is important so we systematically progress towards our collective goals and aspirations.

  5. Time is not of the essence but we also know that greatness cannot be rushed. We will do things right.

TRUST is the glue that holds the fabric of our culture together and we commit to put People First and empower teams to own their successes.

We have developed an 8-step process which we are delighted to share with you:

  1. The need for change has been initiated after the recent business near miss.

  2. We have a stakeholder steering committee from all departments to ensure collective buy-in.

  3. Our vision is a People First approach, empowering people and teams to own their success.

  4. We have a team of people willing to be Wellbeing Warriors to help through transition and beyond.

  5. As a leadership team we have regular reviews to ensure we remove barriers to change.

  6. At this time, we have asked the steering committee to recommend short term initiatives to support people.

  7. Our HR teams are looking at all the learning development needs across all levels of the business.

  8. Our All-Hands Kick Off meeting will officially launch the new culture programme along with the exciting initiatives agreed across the business.
